Discover Collective: Young Adults at Alive Church

Collective is our space for 18-30’s meeting midweek across multiple communities, every 3rd Sunday for food together post-gathering, and every 1st Sunday at the 6:30 gathering.

As a whole, we navigate what it looks like to live out our faith as a young adult in our everyday.

COMMUNITIES

Collective is the place for anyone in the bracket of 18–30s to find connection, community, and a whole lot of encouragement for living out faith in the real world. We meet midweek across multiple Communities—smaller groups where friendships grow, faith deepens, and life’s ups and downs are navigated together.

COLLECTIVE RETREAT

Join us for The Collective Weekend Awayin November 2026 at Rydal Hall! Think cosy autumn nights, incredible teaching, worship that lifts the roof, late-night chats over hot chocolate, and time to pause and hear from God in the heart of the Lake District. It’s more than just a weekend—it’s the reset and refresh you didn’t know you needed.

We’re so excited to share that our Collective Retreat is BACK! This year, we are heading to Rydal Hall for a weekend of fellowship, worship, prayer and teaching.

Our Young Adults ministry is growing, and we’re extending Collective to 18-30s! If you’re in this bracket, we’d love to invite you join us for this weekend, and if you want to know more, we’d love to chat to you!

Drop Eve or Libs an email, and we’d love to help you come along!

Testimonies from last year…

Having only joined Alive in August 2025, my wife and I went on the young adult’s retreat in November, and it was definitely the correct decision!

Not just for the spiritual benefits of prolonged worship sessions and teachings, but also for the opportunity it gave to engage with the church community and build on friendships in a way we hadn’t had the opportunity to do before.

It was a chance to eat together, worship together, play games and laugh and just be. We saw God ministering and working in our lives.

I would say with confidence that if you are umming and ahhing over whether to go this year; I strongly encourage you to say yes and when you get there, jump in and engage with it. It is a lot of fun but moreover, we left feeling like fully fledged members of Collective, with a sense of inclusion, encouragement in our faith and community, and more deeply known.

Can’t wait for 2026 getaway!

We are the Collective community leaders! If you’re aged 18-29, we’d love to meet you!

Since January 2025, we have seen amazing growth in our Young Adults ministry, and in November 2025, we had our first ever Collective Winter Retreat! It was a great time of encounter and community building, and we’re really excited for what 2026 will be bring.

Collective have 2 communities: 18-24s and 25+, and we meet on a Tuesday evening every week. We hang out, talk about the Bible and pray together - we love investing in one another, and celebrating together!

We’d love to meet you on a Sunday: Collective spreads across both our 10:30 and 6:30 gatherings! We’d love to hear from you too! If you’d like to know more, you can get in touch with us on the emails below!
